FAQ
"We have listed some frequently asked questions. We hope this helps."
"How should I send the sample?"
■【Blood sample】 – After PBMC separation, freeze it in Cryomedia such as Cell Banker (-80℃) and ship it in a Styrofoam box with dry ice.
■【Tissue sample】 – After dissociation, place it in Cryomedia and ship it with dry ice.
■【FF (Fresh frozen)】 – Embed fresh tissue in an OCT mold, then pack it in a Styrofoam box with dry ice for shipping.
■【FFPE (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded)】 – Ship FFPE samples in Block or Slide form. If sending a Block, place it in a Styrofoam box with an ice pack (4℃). → Subsequent sectioning and sequencing will be carried out by Geninus.

"Can the sample still be analyzed without dissociation?"
"On-call dissociation service is available. If the sample is received as fresh tissue or blood rather than a cell stock, the process will be carried out on an on-call basis, and additional charges will apply."
"I would like to know which types of tissue are eligible for analysis."

"How many cells can be generated?"
To obtain gene expression information for tissues or cell populations, analysis of thousands of cells is required. The single-cell analysis service allows for a target of 3,000 to 10,000 cells per sample, enabling researchers to specify their desired target count when making a request.
【For the Visium service】-A spot size of 6.5mm × 6.5mm accommodates approximately 5,000 cells. -A spot size of 11mm × 11mm accommodates approximately 14,000 cells.
