“Agreement between Sookmyung Women’s University and Geninus Inc. for the Development of Treatments for Chronic Women’s Diseases”<\/strong><\/p>\n Sookmyung Women’s University has partnered with Geninus, a genomic analysis company, to develop treatments for chronic women’s health conditions. On February 19, the university’s Women’s Health Research Institute signed a joint research agreement focused on spatial omics technology to enhance women’s health. Through this collaboration, the institutions will conduct research on drug development for chronic conditions such as postmenopausal osteoporosis. Geninus, a publicly traded company specializing in spatial omics analysis, is recognized for its innovative solutions in drug development. The company recently secured 10 billion KRW in research funding as part of Japan\u2019s SCRUM Japan Monster 3 Project<\/em>, where it will analyze tumor samples from 3,200 cancer patients over three years. Sookmyung Women’s University was selected for a government-funded project worth 6.7 billion KRW last year, leading to the establishment of the Spatial Omics Center<\/em> under its Women’s Health Research Institute. The institute plans to leverage Geninus’ spatial transcriptomics big data technology to advance research on postmenopausal degenerative diseases.
